Overview of M2M Communication
Machine to Machine Learning is a system M2M Communication License Registration given authorization for own the underlying network to provide connectivity and related services for M2M Service Providers. also, M2M Communication Licensee can perform functions such as:
- Access and integration of resources provided by other providers;
- Support and control of the M2M/IoT capable infrastructure;
- Offering of M2M/IoT capabilities, including network capabilities and resource exposure to other providers.
“Machine to Machine (M2M) Communication” refers to a communication between two or more entities (object/devices/things) based on existing & evolving communication technologies that do not necessarily need any direct human intervention.
Eligibility criteria for M2M communication in India
M2MSP Registration may be grant to any Company registered under Indian Companies Act-2013, as amended from time to time or any LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) registered under LLP Act-2008, as amended from time to time or a partnership firm to provide M2M Services who fulfils the terms and conditions prescribed by the Authority.
Types of M2M Communication Licenses
The License/Authorization for M2M Services are grant for three different Categories namely Category ‘A’, Category ‘B’ and Category ‘C
- Category ‘A’ M2M Communications License Registration – This Category ‘A’ M2M Communications Services authorization shall be the National Area.
- Category ‘B’ M2M Communications License Registration – This Category ‘B’ M2M Communications Services authorization shall be one Telecom Circle/Metro Area
- Category ‘C’ M2M Communications License Registration – This Category ‘C’ M2M Communications Services authorization shall be the one Secondary Switching Area (SSA)/one district.

- Paid-up Capital
- Details of the Base Station
