Overview of PM-WANI registration
PM-WANI is a flagship scheme of the Indian government that aims to provide public Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the country. Under this scheme, the government envisions creating a collaborative platform where public data offices (PDOs) will provide Wi-Fi services to citizens. These PDOs can be small shops, Kirana stores, and even individuals who will be registered as Public Data Offices (PDOs) and will provide public Wi-Fi services. The scheme aims to make internet services accessible to everyone by creating a network of such PDOs across the country.
