Overview of International Organization for Standardization
(ISO)
ISO certification is a certification that provides standards to organizations and thus points the way for business innovation and development. ISO certification is mandatory for creating specific standards that ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products and services. It also ensures that the company’s products and services meet consumer and regulatory requirements. It certifies that the company’s management system complies with ISO standards beneficial to the business, customers, and employees/team.
Additionally, ISO certification helps demonstrate continuous improvement. It also certifies that the following procedures have met all standardization and quality control criteria. Certification is issued in different areas and each ISO certification has different criteria, such as:
