Overview of FSSAI Food Services License
Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) is an enhanced version of Food Licensing and Registration System (FLRS) introduced in 2012 to issue FSSAI licenses and registrations across India. It has evolved slowly and organically in response to changing regulatory requirements. They retired the underlying technology and stopped providing technical support. Over the years, users have complained about the slowness of his FLRS, and software professionals have resisted new changes to his FLRS, hindering further improvements, extensions, and innovations in the licensing system. was Therefore, his transition from FLRS to FoSCoS was essential.
Based on the latest technology, FoSCoS has the vision to provide a modern ubiquitous IT platform across India to meet food safety regulatory requirements. FoSCoS is a comprehensive system integrated with other existing IT platforms of FSSAI, such as Food Safety Compliance through Periodic Inspection and Sampling (FoSCoRIS), Food Safety Connected Complaint Management System, Online Annual Returns Platform, Food Import Clearing System (FICS). designed as a system. , Indian Food Research Institute Network (InFoLNet), Audit Management System (AMS), Sentences and Penalties, Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC), Food Safety Mitra (FSM), etc. We will go through these integrations one by one. In the future, until resolved, FoSCoS will further evolve from a licensing platform to a unified compliance platform
